The Cutest Family Ever

These are a few of my favorite things. Just kidding, but they are a few of my favorite photos from Christmas of my brother, his new family, and our parents. Who knew that kids could be so cute? I wouldn't have believed it a few years ago.

Jason Swimming With Mom and Dad

Geoff, Louise, Jason, Lily and I attended the 2008 Academy Swim Team Reunion on Saturday, and Jason got to experience the pool first hand. These are a couple of videos of Jason swimming with his mom and dad.

Jason's Second Christmas

This year was Jason's second Christmas and Lily's first. Jason had a ball of a time opening his presents, playing with his new toys and just being cute in general. I posted some of the clips of him from Christmas morning.

Trail of Lights

Jesse and I went to the Trail of Lights on the Sunday before Christmas. He purposely had us wait so that we could experience what might possibly be Austin's coldest day of the year. Despite the freezing cold wind and the abundance of people with unruly small children we had a good time and I took some video of the more impressive light displays. Jesse, of course, regretted his choice of night since he is a native Texan and therefore quite a wimp when it comes to anything below 65 degrees. Nonetheless, the Christmas spirit prevailed and we went out and had our own Merry Little Christmas celebration afterward that involved a warm bar and numerous holiday libations. Tis the season!

A Hippie Christmas

Jesse and I went to see the lights on 37th street. It's a crazy hippie neighborhood in Hyde Park in Austin. The whole street decorates like mad and every house has a different 'theme' - there were some good ones this year.

Christmas Preparations

Jesse and I put up Christmas lights to celebrate the season. Well, I put them up, and after I left he promptly rearranged them to his liking.

What does a Master's degree get you? A bunch of silly pictures.

Everything started out in a serious fashion, but quickly divulged to us being the idiots that we are. Just goes to show you that being educated doesn't really mean anything in the long run. I'm so proud of Kimi for making it through her degree and sticking with it even though the job market has been less than kind to her. Cheers to her going back to school again in the spring! At least I won't be alone in my suffering any longer.

Thanksgiving 2008 - Turkey and Toddlers

Here's a little taste of the madness that occurred during the 2008 Thanksgiving Holiday. I can only dream of what's going to happen at Christmas...Good clean fun I would imagine.
